Tiny Bean's Corner in the IFB Universe

Tiny Bean IFB Blog post from the previous show titled: Mediocre Modeler new Staff and Chapter 10.

Well, I am SO happy to be a part of the IFB team. Really enjoyed my first segment. Thought it would be a good idea to add some short blog posts to go over what we chatted about, and what's next up on deck.

We did a look into the new Lost in Space series on Netflix. This one gets a huge thumbs up from me and the rest of the IFB team. Latest news is that the 3rd and final season will hit in 2021. https://www.netflix.com/title/80104198
ALSO remember to check out the original unaired pilot of the 1965 Lost in Space, quite different from the iconic show that came after it, and so much fun to watch. That is available on Hulu.

The Skylines films had a new installment recently on Netflix. Lots of interesting details on the series out there, but this review on my favorite installment, Beyond Skyline, nails it. "Trashy space movie madness"...sign me up!!!

Another crew member of the Nostromo has passed. RIP to the wonderful Yaphet Kotto. I hope in the coming months to start a long deep dive into the Alien franchise, one of my all time favorites.

AND we talked about how my hero William Shatner will be visiting the original Star Trek set on display at Fort Ticonderoga this summer. Tickets will surely sell out quickly. In anticipation of this event and in honor of the one and only legend for his 90th year, I'm hoping in the coming months to share some re-visits to some of his film and tv appearances as well as his books and recordings through the years. There's so much to pick from! Here is a link to the Ticonderoga event:

That's all for now, I'm heading back to binge watch more of The Magicians for next weeks' chat!

Tiny Bean's Corner of the IFB Universe / January 13, 2021

Hello IFB, where Fans Fuel the Fleet!  Last time in Tinybean's Corner it was all about the drama, and January is full of it. We talked about Dexter New Blood and Yellowjackets, both of which I highly recommend. In fact, Uproxx reporter Carrie Wittrox says Yellowjackets is the best new show on TV in a decade. Click here to read more: https://uproxx.com/tv/is- yellowjacks-the-best-new-tv- television-show-yes-it-is/ And Dexter New Blood? Well apparently it's Showtime's most watched show EVER: https://collider.com/dexter- new-blood-most-watched- showtime-all-time/ So check these shows out, gang! And remember...OZARK IS BACK TOMORROW! Cue happy dance... :-) See you all soon friends, keep smiling, keep watching what you love, and keep fueling the fleet!

Tiny Bean's Corner of the IFB Universe / DEC 2, 2021

Hello friends, Checking in with some links and such for you all to enjoy based on our last chat.  And HEY...I would respectfully like to dial back my "Wheel of Time is bland" comment, or at the very least amend it to "the first 3 episodes are bland but then BAM!!!" because episodes 4 & 5 were straight up badass!! So go ahead, keep watching (that means you Tipsy Toaster!) because now that they have put down some excellent groundwork and filled in backstory this show is taking off. Can't wait for the next episode. Here is the link for the trailer for Encounter, hitting Amazon Prime this Friday. Weigh in gang, anyone else getting a Frailty 2001 Bill Paxton film vibe?? Oooh there's a film we should talk about...   https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=SB44bZVe-c4 I've talked a lot about Station Eleven, was truly one of my favorite books of the last dozen or show years. Looking like the series will good too, hallelujah! Here's a review from Rolling Stone.
